The Technical Recruiter is a sales role responsible for placement of candidates at client organizations by sourcing, qualifying and managing candidates throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle. He/she will represent OpenArc throughout the Pittsburgh IT market as career experts and must be able to educate candidates on companies, opportunities and career progression.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Source, screen, interview and evaluate candidates
- Identify and align qualified candidates with open job requisitions
- Uncover and understand candidate’s career priorities and aspirations
- Be the expert and educate candidates on the market, client organizations, current and future career opportunities, and resume structure
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates
- Accurately and effectively present qualified candidates to Account Managers through both written and verbal communications
- Provide consistent, timely and honest feedback to candidates
- Coach candidates throughout interview and offer processes
- Achieve, weekly, monthly and annual sales metrics and goals
- Respond effectively and problem solve candidate objections and issues
- Track candidate information, status and data in applicant tracking system
- Utilize various job boards and candidate database to source new and existing candidates
- Travel locally in personal vehicle to attend meetings with candidates and clients

- Experience building long-term relationships
- Ability to react quickly and creatively overcome objections
- Strong self-accountability and desire to win
- Professional and engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts and processes
- Adapt to changing priorities and focus
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Preferred experience with high volume phone sales
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid PA Driver’s License
